Saying goodbye to students and a teacher you have worked with for several months is difficult to say the least. After spending so much time together, you've built a bond and connection to these students. The classroom teacher has become a mentor to your teaching philosophies and taught you more about how to educate and care for these students from their actions and feedback than you could learn from all the textbooks in the world. How can they be thanked? End of the semester gifts are a necessity.
I am SO glad you were one
of my students!
In this bag, there are:
*Smarties as a reminder that you are smarter
than even you believe,
*Monsters University stickers to show you learning
is fun too,
*A “thumbs up” to keep up the great work,
*Glow sticks so you don’t forget to show the
world how bright you are,
*Hugs to remind you how special you are to me,
*And pictures to remember the fun and learning
we shared this Fall.
You made it exciting for me
to teach every
day—and you even taught me
too! I will miss
being in your class very
much!
Sincerely,
Ms. Childs
